Buhari Extends Lock down By Two Weeks(14 days)

President Muhammadu Buhari has extended the lock down in Lagos,Abuja, Ogun and some other states in the country by two weeks due to the corona virus. The President made this announcement in a national broadcast aired on NTA news. He urged Nigerians to be very calm and endure the measures put in place to try to subdue and overcome the corona virus.
But the question is, "for how long can an average Nigerian keep up with this measures".
Nigeria has been faced with a disaster that if not properly handled can wreck havoc in the country.

First of all in the area of food supply, like i stated in my previous article lots of Nigerians are daily hustlers i.e they depend on their daily income for food, now the question is "has the government been able to make a provision for this" the answer is NO, sure i  recognize the government's effort in trying to supply food to the poor but the thing is they haven't performed up to expectations. Apart from the corona virus there's nothing as deadly as hunger which might end up killing a lot of Nigerians if not taken into full consideration.

Also the extended lock down has given room for robbers to perform at their optimum.
There has been news of robberies in Lagos and Ogun states respectively. Residents living in areas between Lagos and Ogun state are not having peace of mind as armed robbers have reportedly taken over the streets on a robbing spree, both in broad day light and also in the night. Let's trace this back, unfortunately many people asked to sit at home live from hand to mouth, especially the area boys/men who hustle at motor parks and market places for their daily bread. Now bear in  mind that the upsurge in armed robberies can't totally be unconnected to this area boys/men who have gone hungry due to this lock down.
Most residents have taken up the duty of acting as vigilantes for their neighborhood that includes setting fires and acquiring weapons for protection. The police have reportedly been low scale on this case causing residents to take their lives in their palms.

With all these i don't think an average Nigerian can keep up if measures are not put in place to stop it.

Currently there are 343 cases of corona virus in Nigeria, with 91 recoveries and sadly 10 deaths.
